The first thing that comes to mind when I see this word is Aretha Franklin. Why? She turned the song that Otis Redding wrote in 1965 into a powerful statement for women in 1967, just as he did for men. We could all use a little respect whether you're a man or a woman.

One thing for sure is that you have to work on building relationships to succeed in life. Your reputation can make or break you, especially if you are a public figure. I always encourage my children, nieces and nephews to always protect their reputation. It takes time to build but can be destroyed in minutes.
